The Story of a Successful Aesthetic Surgeon and Doctor
I am Dr. Maris Garori, a title earned after the determination to follow my childhood dream. A dream that led me to continue my studies in Medicine and Surgery at the Sapienza University of Rome, known for the quality of its studies and the great weight it carries at the international level.
During the last three years of university studies, I had the opportunity to be part of the dermatology department, with a focus on the oncology part, at the “Alfredo Fiorini” hospital, Terracina, to study the action of anti PD1 in the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of the skin. Work which was finalized with my experimental thesis entitled “Instrumental follow-up of advanced squamous-cell carcinoma of the skin, in anti-PD1 therapy”.
During those years I was also given the opportunity to be an observer and then a dermatology assistant in a private dermatology clinic and immediately after graduation I was offered the opportunity to work full time in this clinic. Passionate about the aging process and the ways in which this process can be improved or slowed down, I attended a several-month training at UNICAMP (Universidade Estadual de Campinas), Brazil, on cosmetology and various anti-aging techniques with the “distinction” rating.
My Journey into the World of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine
After an intensive course of several months in London, I also obtained the right to produce herbal cosmetic products for the skin, hair, body, etc.
Wanting to study in more detail the connection between dermatology and aesthetic medicine, I decided to follow the Second Level Master in Cosmetic Dermatology, Regenerative Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Pisa. I graduated with the highest grade and an invitation to be a lecturer in the next academic years to discuss with new students about the results of my experimental thesis, which involved laser-lipolysis and tissue tightening in the treatment of localized adiposity and skin laxity in different areas of the body.
After that, I continued my studies at the University of Padova, in the Department of Plastic Surgery in the Second Level Master’s Degree entitled “Morfofunctional Multidistrict Surgery”, directed by Prof. Dr. Franco Bassetto, simultaneously and relator of my thesis on Lower Eyelid Blepharoplasty in patients over 45 years old. Graduated from this university also with maximum results and academic compliments.
Being in contact with patients every day and having access to the latest medical technology, I have had the opportunity to create personalized protocols for various skin, hair, etc. problems.
The path to International Leadership in Aesthetic Medicine
After an intensive course of several months in London, I also obtained the right to produce herbal cosmetic products for the skin, hair, body, etc.
Wanting to study in more detail the connection between dermatology and aesthetic medicine, I decided to follow the Second Level Master in Cosmetic Dermatology, Regenerative Medicine and Aesthetic Medicine at the University of Pisa. I graduated with the highest grade and an invitation to be a lecturer in the next academic years to discuss with new students about the results of my experimental thesis, which involved laser-lipolysis and tissue tightening in the treatment of localized adiposity and skin laxity in different areas of the body.
